NuPolar Polarized Lenses
The next time you purchase sunglasses, prescription or not, you should strongly consider polarized lenses. Over the years, people have asked “what makes a polarized lens better”? Others, when asked if they would like their sunglass lenses to be polarized, didn’t know what polarized lenses were. Some people never new such a lens existed
Why Polarized Lenses?
Polarized lenses, like NuPolar Lenses by Younger Optics, are designed to pin-point the polarized, or reflected glare. This is the part of the visible light that reflects off the water, or a car wind shield. If you can eliminate polarized glare, your sight will be much more crisper and comfortable outside.
A polarized lens is built in layers, similar to a piece of plywood. there is a front side and backside substrate. In between you have a layer for lens color, and you have a polarized filter. This filter has to be specially aligned within the lens to work properly.
NuPolar lenses are my personal choice because I’ve never had problems with lens delamination (layers separating) or color match between a pair of lenses.
